Radical Remedies is a rapid-response video project that invites Detroit storytellers to create a short film relevant to a current issue impacting BIPOC Detroiters and our larger society. The project brings awareness to these topics, fosters healing, and utilizes art as a powerful tool of resistance and resilience.

 

Selected filmmakers are awarded an honorarium, and their films are screened publicly and disseminated digitally. A new subject matter is chosen for each iteration of Radical Remedies, based on current events of the present time. The call for Radical Remedies 2024 is now open through November 10, 2024.
